No soldering is required. Ideal project for those new to prop building

-
The Pack board is 100% plug and play and uses all the stock connectors, lights, etc. You can use the stock, unmodified Hasbro Wand with just a Pack only board. However you will not have any Pack/Wand communication. You will be able to still add on the inner Cyclotron & Panel LED kit!
-
The Wand board requires minor modifications to the wand to get inside and to desolder existing wires from the original board to reuse on the Wand board. However, if soldering is not your thing, don't worry! We designed it to be user friendly by simply clipping the wires off!
-
Upgrading the Wand requires a new hose connector (included with the wand kit).

Other Required Components
Not included
-
Speaker & amp combination or bluetooth speaker.
-
The stock Proton Pack speaker and volume rotary encoder are soldered to the stock board and will be removed along with the board. We will provide a new rotary encoder that plugs into the board but a new speaker system is required.
-
There are many options out and it's really up to you.
-
A pair of 3" 15w speakers & 15w Class D stereo amp and it's enough to Pack a punch.
-
Many others out there prefer using a bluetooth speaker and JBL seems to be a popular choice. You can also use the stock speaker. This will be left up entirely to the user. The Wav Trigger audio boards have a AUX stereo output cable port and also an on-board mono amplifier which is rated for 2W @ 4Ω or 1W @ 8Ω. The recommended setting is using the AUX stereo output for the Proton Pack to a stereo amplifier and using the onboard amplifier for the Neutrona Wand while reusing the stock Wand speaker.
-
-
-
2 MicroSD cards are required, 1 for each Wav Trigger.
-
Power requirements:
-
A regulated 5V is required to power the system with up to 2 amps is recommended.
-
The TalentCell Rechargeable 3000mAh 12V/5V battery Pack is recommended as it has input connections to output both 5v and 12v without modifications/added components needed. The 12V/5V TalentCell can be useful if you decide to use a 12V amp for your Proton Pack audio. However any other battery can work as long as it meets the power requirements indicated.
